The present invention relates to a method (50) for transmitting a downlink message on a downlink between an access network (30) and a plurality of terminals (20), the downlink message being made up of main data to be transmitted to a receiving terminal (20), the method (50) comprising the steps of: - (51) generating error detection data from the main data, - (52) modifying main data and/or error-detection data on the basis of an identifier of the receiving terminal (20), using a predefined reversible modification function, the modification being carried out at a constant spectral width and for a constant duration with respect to the aforementioned main data and/or error-detection data, and - (53) transmitting a downlink message comprising the main data and the error-detection data obtained after modification.
