METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLYING VISIBILITY FUNCTION TO NETWORKED INFORMATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus that uses a visibility function to send situation information adjusted to be propagated within a network so as to have a different resolution. SOLUTION: In a set of nodes within a network environment, a source node directly transmits situation information to a subset of adjacent nodes. An adjacent node that receives the situation information, processes the received information in accordance with a resolution (data solution) profile in the network environment defined by the visibility function according to a visibility parameter contained in the situation information and retransmits the information to a further adjacent node.
