<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode improved in durability and achieving the high-current energizing of a rotating body, a roller unit equipped with the electrode, a fixing device achieving the shortening of a warming-up time, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the roller unit. <P>SOLUTION: A bearing 93 (electrode) for energizing a fixing roller 91 disposed rotatably has a fixed electrode 93A, a rotary electrode 93B opposed to the fixed electrode 93A through a gap and rotating together with the fixing roller 91, and a liquid 93F with which a filling part 93D formed in the gap is filled and which has conductivity.
