PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device easy to assemble, having high assembling accuracy, and free from unevenness of operation characteristics. SOLUTION: A plural pairs of movable contacts 22a and fixed contacts 21a facing each other in free contact and separation are arranged in parallel with each other, and serially connected to each other so that current flows in one direction between the movable contacts 22a and fixed contacts 21a. Permanent magnets 86, 87 are arranged at side part of the movable contacts 22a and fixed contacts 21a so as to form a magnet field stretching out an arc generated between contacts upward or downward.
