PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a keystone adjustment circuit without correcting a keystone adjustment circuit, that an effective area of keystone adjustment is small during high bit rate processing, and an image is degraded during low bit rate processing. SOLUTION: In the invention, the low bit rate processing and the high bit rate processing are switched over, according to a keystone adjustment amount or effectiveness/ineffectiveness of the keystone adjustment amount.
