The invention relates to a unicompartmental anatomic knee prosthesis. The inventive prosthesis is characterised in that the femoral implant comprises a condyle pad (1) having an anatomic-type outer profile (1a) and an inner flat support surface (1b) which co-operates with a bone cut made in the posterior edge of the anatomical condyle, such as to cover said edge, said flat surface (1b) extending into a curved support surface (1c) which conforms in shape to the profile of the anterior edge of the anatomical condyle. The invention is also characterised in that the tibial implant comprises a plate (3) which is mounted to a tibial base (2) such that it can perform limited rotational and translational movements in a horizontal plane, said tibial base (2) being fixed to the bone cut in the corresponding anatomical tibial compartment. |
