PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film role wherein transportation at a film production step and a film processing step is improved, a winding appearance is good, a mark of an adhesive tape is small and yields at a film production step and a film processing step are increased. SOLUTION: In the thermoplastic resin film role, a convex-concave structure is formed on one or both surface at the both edge parts in a direction of a width of the film, and a ratio (μA/μB) of a coefficient of friction of a coefficient of friction (μA) at the convex-concave part to a coefficient of friction (μB) at the part having no such structure is 0.65-0.95.
