PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an adsorption element, by which the elution of metal ions from a base material can be surely prevented, and to provide the adsorption element and an apparatus for hydrothermal synthesis. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the adsorption element 100 in which an adsorption agent 121 capable of adsorbing and desorbing an adsorbate by cooling and heating is arranged on the surface of a metal base material 110, a forming process in which the base material 110 is immersed into a solution 122 of a precursor for the adsorption agent 121 and the adsorption agent 121 is formed on the surface of the base material 110 by performing hydrothermal synthesis is include, and in the forming process, the hydrothermal synthesis is performed in a state in which an electron supplying body 130 is electrically connected to the base material 110.
