PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which can change a mode of the processing to select the representation by the operation of a player without adding another independent operation means so that a structure and the control of an apparatus can be simplified and can change the mode of the processing to select the representation and the type of the representation without putting a burden on the player. SOLUTION: The elapsed time between a completion point when a start switch is operated as the commencement of one unit game and a commencement point when an operation means is operated by the player before the completion point is measured and the representation to be executed for the one unit game is selected on the basis of the elapsed time.
