<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode optimum for a photoelectric conversion element in which soaking of an electrolytic solution into an electrode composed of a porous carbon member is suppressed and which is superior in longtime stability of power generating characteristics, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same and a photoelectric conversion element using the electrode. <P>SOLUTION: A counter electrode, arranged in opposition to an action electrode through an electrolyte layer 6 interposed at least at one part, is constituted in a manner that a side contacting the electrolyte layer 6 is constituted of a porous carbon material 7, and a conductive oxide layer 14 is locally arranged at electrolyte layer 6 side of the porous carbon material 7. The photoelectric conversion element (dye-sensitized solar cell) 1 is formed by making a porous oxide semiconductor layer 5 constituting an action electrode substrate 8 carry dye stuff, and by making it contain the electrolytic solution as the electrolyte layer 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
