PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition that is excellent in storage stability and gives a cured article having excellent mechanical strength. SOLUTION: The curable composition comprises an organic polymer (A) having a hydrolyzable silicon group represented by the formula (1): -R- SiX<SB>a</SB>R<SP>1</SP><SB>3-a</SB>(wherein R is a divalent organic group, R<SP>1</SP>is an optionally substituted monovalent 1-20C hydrocarbon group, X is a hydrolyzable group, and a is 1, 2, or 3) and having a total content of ionic impurities of 50 ppm or lower, and a polymer (B) of a monomer having a polymerizable unsaturated group.
