A liquid accelerator composition for sprayed concrete, comprising aluminium sulphate, amorphous aluminium hy-droxide, alkanolamine and an organic dibasic acid anhydride. The compositions allow the attainment of high early compressive strength, and they can be tailored to give good performance with a wide variety of cement types.
