PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound capable of being easily produced at a low cost and capable of giving a photoelectric transducer having high photoelectric conversion efficiency even in a long wavelength region of 600 nm or more.

SOLUTION: This compound is, for example, expressed by formula (3-1). Coloring matter for the photoelectric transducer comprises the compound. The photoelectric transducer comprises a semiconductor fine particle layer on which the coloring matter for the photoelectric transducer is adsorbed and an electrically-conductive base plate.
