PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long sheath, having the length corresponding to the length of a cable to be laid, which is prepared by joining prefabricated sheaths of a predetermined length in an adequately-equipped factory or the like. SOLUTION: The long sheath is formed of polyethylene to cover the cable.
