PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure capable of reducing amount of bulging-out of adhesive from a joint part as much as possible when tightening and joining different types of metal panels mutually by a self-pierce rivet based on the assumption of use of adhesive. SOLUTION: In this joint structure, a recessed part 10 surrounding a rivet driving position 9 is formed on a joint face on an aluminum panel 2 side in advance when tightening and joining flange parts 3a of an aluminum panel 2 and a steel panel 3 by driving the self-pierce rivet into the rivet driving position 9 after applying adhesive between both of them. At the same time, a panel seating face 11 being higher than a bottom face of the recessed part 10 by one step and a projecting bead part 12 are formed, the panel seating face 11 is formed as an inclined face having an upgrade toward the projecting bead part 12, and the recessed part 10 is made to function as an adhesive receiving space actively.
