A transparent-finished-image generating unit (6) generates, when the target image extends to a plurality of pages, a transparent finished image by adjusting a transparency of a non-image portion of the finished image to a predetermined transparency. A transparent-finished-image display unit (7) forms the transparent finished image in a stack, and displays the stacked transparent finished image on a display unit in such a manner that an image portion of the transparent finished image is seen through the non-image portion.
