An automatic rail system for tilting a welding equipment, which can control a welding base metal and rails such that the welding base metal and the rails are maintained in parallel by a main system part and at least one auxiliary system part connected between the rails and clamp devices, and can reduce the defective proportion of welding regardless of proficiency of a worker, and a control method of the same are provided. In an automatic rail system for tilting rails(20) on which a welding machine(10) is mounted based on a welding base metal, an automatic rail system for tilting a welding equipment comprises: a main system part(100) in which tilting points(101,102,103) are installed between the rails and clamp devices(30); a sensor(110) installed at a place for sensing a sagging amount of the welding machine; and a control part(200) for receiving an output value of the sensor from the sensor to transmit a motor control signal for adjusting the welding base metal and the rails such that the welding base metal and the rails are maintained in parallel to a motor(120) of the main system part. The sensor comprises plural meter readers(111,112) connected to the bottom of the welding machine. The automatic rail system for tilting a welding equipment further comprises plural auxiliary system parts(100a,100b) spaced from the main system part in a predetermined distance and installed on the bottom of the rails.
