<p>A machine tool, powered by a pneumatic motor (1) connected to a compressed air source via a valve (20), and having a tool-carrying spindle (12) and a drive mechanism with a mobile selector assembly (6, 8a, 8), has the facing surfaces of the selector assembly clutch pinion (6) and the input pinion (3) made with identical projections and an equal number of cavities. The projections and/or cavities have shapes that reduce progressively from base to tip and have no flat horizontal surfaces. The selector is held constantly against the input pinion by a spring (8c), and disengages from it automatically when the clutch pinion is stopped at the end of a machining cycle.</p> |
