<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing method and an image forming method, with which an image showing preferable gloss and fixing property with less density uneveness (roughness) of an image can be obtained and a stable image similar to that in an initial stage can be obtained continuously, even over long-term continuous use. <P>SOLUTION: The toner to be used has toner particles containing at least a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the loss tangent (tanδ) of the toner has a minimum and maximum values in a temperature range of 70 to 110°C and a maximum value in the temperature range of 140 to 200°C, and the loss modulus G"(140) of the toner ranges from 1.0×10<SP>4</SP>to 2.0×10<SP>5</SP>dN/m<SP>2</SP>. The developing roller to be used has surface characteristics, represented by a circular slicing characteristic value X (ϕ0.050) of 0.8 to 2.4μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
