PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener guard for cleaning which prevents a slider and a pull tab of a fastener of a garment from being damaged and falling out during cleaning, which is less likely to fall out during cleaning and where costs are reduced by an integral forming. SOLUTION: The fastener guard for cleaning is provided with: a rear holding plate part 2 positioned on the side of the rear face of the slider of the fastener; a front holding plate part 3 connected openably and closably by the end of the rear holding plate part 2 and a hinge part 4 and positioned on the side of the front face and the pull tab side of the slider of the fastener; a locking piece 5 which is connected nearly vertically from the rear face insert-holding plate part 2 in the neighborhood of the hinge part 4 and which has a hook part 5a at an upper end part; an engaging part 6 which is formed at the front holding plate part 3 and engages with the hook part 5a of the locking piece 5 when the rear holding plate part 2 and the front holding plate part 3 are closed with the hinge part 4 as a fulcrum; and a fastener rear face pressurization piece 7 whose proximal end is connected with the middle part of the rear holding plate part 2.
