METHOD FOR DIAGNOSTIC OF WHEEL ALIGHNMENT ANGLE OF VEHICLES

The method for diagnostics of wheel alignment angle of vehicles relates to transport vehicle and can be used at automobile plants and service stations. The method for diagnostics consists in mounting wheels on the hold-back horizontal platforms. When rotating wheels it is registered linear values which define installation angle values. During registration of linear parameters at rotation of wheels the measurement in the fixed points is carried out. On the basis of measurements the installation angle value of wheels and size of admissions of angles depending on backlashes in elements of the arbor support and a steering linkage is determined. Technical result is maintenance of the control of installation angles for steered wheel and unsteered wheels at simultaneous diagnostics of technical condition of elements of arbor support and steering control of vehicles.
