<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a brake for a vehicle, to reduce manufacturing cost and to improve safety by properly giving braking force even when an electric power source breaks down. <P>SOLUTION: An input piston 12 and a pressure piston 13 are supported in a cylinder 11 free to move, the pressure piston 13 is made free to pressurize by the input piston 12, a brake pedal 14 is connected to the input piston 12, front and rear pressure chambers R1, R2 of the input piston 12 are communicated with each other by a communicating passage 21, controlled hydraulic pressure in accordance with manipulated variable of the brake pedal 14 is made free to be supplied to the second pressure chamber R2 by first and second linear valves 40, 42, controlled hydraulic pressure in accordance with manipulated variable transmitted to the pressure piston 13 through the input piston 12 from the brake pedal 14 is made free to be supplied to the second pressure chamber R2 by regulating the pressure by a pressure regulating valve 22 and braking hydraulic pressure is made free to output from each of the pressure chambers R1, R2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
