METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING GUI, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate a GUI picture having looks similar to a GUI picture for a displayed application but executes different event processing.

SOLUTION: A GUI (graphical user interface) generation method for generating a new GUI picture having similar looks from GUI picture information constituted of GUI components such as a window and a button in an apparatus having the GUI comprises: a GUI information acquisition step for acquiring GUI information about an application picture in displaying; a GUI picture generation step for generating a GUI picture similar to the GUI picture in displaying on the basis of the acquired GUI information; a step for acquiring event control information about event control for the newly generated GUI picture; and an event control object generation step for controlling an event on the basis of the event control information, so that the GUI picture similar in looks and the new event control object can be generated.
