<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly and accurately detect a small article even if a power voltage remarkably fluctuates, in a rice cooker having a function for detecting a small article such as a spoon or a kitchen knife and a missing pan. <P>SOLUTION: Unidirectional power 4 obtained by rectifying commercial power 3 is converted to a high-frequency power by an inverter circuit 8; a voltage value detected by a collector-to-emitter voltage detection means 25 for detecting a voltage between a collector and an emitter of a switching element 7 and a current value detected by a current detection means 23 for measuring a current supplied from the commercial power 3 are calculated; and it is determined, based on the difference between the calculation result and a predetermined value whether a predetermined inner pan 1 is entered in a rice cooker body 20 or it is determined by a small article detection means 26 whether a small article such as a spoon or a kitchen knife other than the predetermined inner pan 1 is entered or no pan is entered. This rice cooker has a first small article detection change means 28 for changing a predetermined value used for determination by the small article detection means 26 in accordance with a power voltage value detected by a power voltage detection means 27 for measuring a power voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
