PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which can be used in washing to give a washed thing excellent in smoothness at rinsing after washing and feelings of nonwetness, nonstiffness, etc., after drying. SOLUTION: The detergent composition comprises a copolymer (A) comprising structural units each corresponding to a specifically structured vinyl monomer containing an amide bond or a hydroxy group and structural units each corresponding to a specifically structured vinyl monomer containing an ester bond and a copolymer (B) comprising structural units each corresponding to a specifically structured vinyl monomer containing an amide bond or a hydroxy group and structural units each corresponding to a specifically structured vinyl monomer containing an amide bond.
