REFRIGERATOR AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING THE SAME

A refrigerator and an assembling method thereof are provided to remove a hole formed in an inner cavity for fixing an evaporator to the inner cavity for preventing permeation of moisture from the inner cavity to an outer part through the hole, thereby preventing deterioration of refrigerator performance and damage of an insulating element by the moisture. A refrigerator includes first supporting elements(50) coupled at both sides of an evaporator(40) for supporting the evaporator when assembling the evaporator into an inner cavity(30). The first supporting elements have portions coupled with the evaporator and the portions have a width corresponding to a width of the inner cavity. Second supporting elements(60) are mounted to a rear part of the evaporator and coupled with the inner cavity. The first supporting elements have receiving grooves(54) at portions corresponding to refrigerant pipes and coupling grooves(53) at outer surfaces(52) corresponding to coupling protrusions(33) of the inner cavity, so that the first supporting elements are coupled with the evaporator and the inner cavity by fitting instead of using any additional screws or bolts.
