An RAIF(Redundant Array of Independent/Inexpensive Flash Memories) technology using device in a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to configure high-speed and high-capacity supplementary storage devices by using a lot of flash memories, and to increase the availability of the flash memories at a time when the flash memories are predicted to replace disks in the future. Flash memories(220) store various updatable retaining data. An RAIF controller(130) uses the flash memories(220) as storage devices, and stores data in the plural flash memories(220) by using RAIF technology. A controller(100) transmits a recording request to the RAIF controller(130), and controls entire operation of a mobile communication terminal.
