PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the positional deviation in the direction perpendicular to the sheet conveying direction. SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device 202 is provided with a sheet table 212 for stacking a sheet, a separation fan 231 for blowing out air to an end of the sheet stacked on the sheet table 212 for floating the sheet, an alignment plate 271 arranged in a position confronting the end of the sheet floated by the separation fan 231 and abutting on the end of the floated sheet to align the position of the sheet, and a sucking and carrying belt 221 for sucking and carrying the sheet aligned by the alignment plate 271.
