A device for hermetically sealing the tubular shells by resistance butt welding contains a non-detachable housing with a through passage, in one part of which is located the current-lead and the basic clamp of the tubular shell in the form of collet, and in other - the electrode-holder of plug connected to the drive of welding pressure, the support element of basic clamp covering electrode-holder and connected to the actuator, the devices for supply of the components to be welded into the welding area, sealed welding chamber, additional clamp of tubular shell, and also the source of welding current. Welding chamber is made sectional and is formed by current-lead and support element. Current-lead is located in the insulating holder and is made in the form of a container, inside which is located the collet of basic clamp with adjustable seal. In the non-detachable housing between its parts in the parting plane of welding chamber the opening is executed, which communicates with the through passage of the housing.
