PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic apparatus for a bending optical system, such that its thickness is reduced, while shake-correction function is incorporated. SOLUTION: The photographing apparatus includes a shake detecting section 406 for detecting a shake of the photographic apparatus; a correction lens 302 disposed between the objective lens 12 and a CCD 307 and moved parallel to the imaging face, in order to correct a shake of a subject image on the imaging face caused by the shake of the photographic device; an electromagnet 309 disposed behind the CCD 307 in order to move the correction lens 302; a power transmission mechanism 308 for moving the correction lens 302, by transmitting power from the electromagnet 309 to the correction lens 302; and a correction lens control section 407 that causes the electromagnet 309 to drive the correction lens 302 based on the detection result of the shake detecting section 406 so that a subject image corrected of shake is formed on the imaging face.
