PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein an install time becomes long if there are a number of combinations of input/output devices when resources to be used for matching processing is optimized utilizing cache data for color matching processing, and a method of creating cache data at the time of installing a device driver or the like is considered. SOLUTION: A file such as a device driver is stored in a memory (S801) and while referring to a device management table, a system cache for performing conversion relating to the stored file is retrieved from a system management table (S803-S805).
