PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance security by allowing the speaker of an apparatus beginning to photograph to output false shutter sound, when a slave unit, camera with a human detection sensor, or common part camera photographs. SOLUTION: This interphone system is provided with a slave unit 10 which is installed at an entrance and has a call button 101 to be operated by a visitor to call a master unit, and a slave unit microphone 102, and a slave unit speaker 103 for interphone conversation; and a master unit 20 which is installed in a room, and has a master unit microphone 202 and a master unit speaker 203 for being called from the slave unit 10, making a response, and talking over the interphone. The master unit 20 is equipped with a false shutter sound output means 208 for outputting false shutter sound from the slave speaker 103, to make the visitor conscious of the photographing by the camera when the call button 101 is operated in the slave unit 10.
