An express-method of determining the term of the primary pine utilization while growing pulpwood or burrowing leg includes establishing a test area in a plantation determining taxation indices thereof. The term of the primary utilization of the pine is determined in each concrete stand according to the state of assortment structure by means of establishing one temporary test area only, determining two parameters: forest stand density, average stem volume with achieving the obtained parameters of mature pine forest: a density of 650 stems/ha, an average stem volume of 0.5 m3.
