<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil in which the used-up time of ink and the confirmation of the charging of the ink by supplying the ink can be visually recognized, develops neither the leakage of the ink nor a cost increase and no feature of usage of an ink occluding body intrinsic to the writing utensil is hindered. <P>SOLUTION: In the writing utensil equipped with at least a main body (1), the ink occluding body (2) which is housed in the main body and made of a fibrous aggregate for absorbing and storing the ink, and a penpoint (5) the rear end of which is inserted at one end face or both end faces of the main body in the ink occluding body and its top end acts as a writing end, characteristically the outside of the ink occluding body is covered with a covering body (3) which can communicate with the ink occluding body by the ink, an indicating layer (4) made of a coating film having lower affinity with the ink is provided in some part or the whole of the surface of the covering body and the whole or at least some part of the main body is made to be transparent or semi-transparent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
