<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle radar system capable of detecting an object along a vehicular lateral direction, and mountable in a narrow space. <P>SOLUTION: This on-vehicle radar system is provided with a transmission circuit for transmitting a transmission wave, a plane type transmission antenna for emitting the transmission wave from the transmission circuit along a direction in substantially parallel to an antenna face, a plane type reception antenna for receiving a reception wave reflected on the object, out of the transmission wave from the transmission antenna, from a direction in substantially parallel to an antenna face, and a reception circuit for demodulating the reception wave from the reception antenna, in order to attain the purpose of the present invention, and is attached to a tire house of a vehicle, an under floor of the vehicle or a side mirror so as to emit the transmission wave along the vehicular lateral direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
