PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrical equipment and an operation device, where a rotating part and a display part can be arranged by efficiently using a limited space of the equipment and display of the display part is easy to discriminate, even when the rotating part is rotated. SOLUTION: The rotating part 11 of a rotary switch 2 which accepts a rotating operation by a user, and four buttons 14a, 14b, 14c, and 14d are provided at a periphery of a liquid crystal panel 13. The rotary switch 2 is nearly as large as the liquid crystal panel, so operability of the rotating operation does not become worse. When the rotation part 11 is rotated, the direction of the display of the liquid crystal panel 13 is changed according to the angle of rotation of the rotation part 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
