METHOD FOR IMPROVING THE RELIABILITY OF FAST HANDOVER SERVICE

A method for improving the reliability of fast handover service mainly comprises: in IPv6 network, when mobile node(MN) jointing the original mobile network PAR, MN binding the obtained NcoA address being removing to the new network NAR to communication companion CN /home agent HA; when MN switching to the said network NAR, MN intercommunicating information with CN and HA by use of the said NCoA address before completing the formal binding update. By applying the invention, when MN switches to the network NAR and before completes the formal binding update, it sends flow quantity to CN and HA by use of created NCoA address, thereby avoiding network flow quantity increase and depressed PAR router performance when MN switching to the NAR network and sending flow quantity on channel.
