DOOR LATCH DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a movable contact of a door latch device of a trunk lid.

SOLUTION: A socket 34 having at least a signal terminal 37 is formed in a non-conductive case 29 of an actuator 12 of the door latch device 10. An internal contact 37A of the signal terminal 37 is exposed to the outside of the case 29. The internal contact 37A is electrically connected with one end 64 of a conductive movable contact 38. The other end 67 of the movable contact 38 is placed on a thin insulation piece 65 formed integrally with a non-conductive resin layer 27 formed on the outer circumferential part of the latch 17. One end side of the insulation piece 65 has an insulation wall 66 brought into contact with the other end 67 by a deformation force of the movable contact 38.
