PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of sensing the breakage of the operation signal transmission line of an LPG switch for distinguishing a time when the operation signal transmission line of the LPG switch is broken and a time when the LPG switch is actually operated. SOLUTION: This method comprises a step of determining the presence or absence of the operation of the LPG switch when a vehicle engine is normally driven, a step of confirming the presence or absence of on/off of a starter key when the LPG switch is operated, a step of operating a timer for determining the operating state of the engine when the starter key is turned on, a step of comparing a timer operating time with a set reference time, a step of determining that the LPG switch line is broken when the timer operation time is longer than the reference time and incrementing an error sensing counter by "one", and a step of storing an error code for the broken state and lighting a warning light when the error sensing counter incremented is sustained for a predetermined time and returning the step to the start step after resetting the timer.
