A device to transport and clean roots and tubers has a main frame, a feeder, a reflecting brush, a grating cleaner of a conical shape, inside of which an activator is arranged, a gravity separator and a conveyer unloader. The activator is made as a screw auger, a spiral coiling of which in the upper part is made up by elastic rods directed upwards,and the lower part of the spiral coiling thereof is made up by rigid coils directed downwards. The direction of movement of the grating cleaner of a conical shape and the activator are opposite according to direction thereof.
