METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CARDIAL AND SUBCARDIAL GASTRIC ULCERS

The method for the surgical treatment of cardial and subcardial gastric ulcers provides for the mobilization of the lesser curvature of the stomach in the area of cardia, the resection of the ulcerous substrate, the closure of the T-shaped defect generated after the dissection of the ulcer, and the restoration of the sphincter function. The economic resection of cardia is performed in the shape of the triangle with the lesser curvature serving as the base of the triangle sparing the area of esophageal-gastric transition in the fundus of the stomach. The plastic reconstruction of the tailored opening is started by suturing longitudinally the lesser curvature. Then esophagogastroplasty is performed in the lumbar direction. Cardiofundoplication is performed with the lateral invagination of skeletized stomach and esophagus. The ligament complex of the "new" cardia is tailored.
