摘要 <p>A starter system of a liquefied petroleum gas injection vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to prevent unnecessary operation of a starter motor by starting an engine under the condition where the fuel pressed to an injector is maintained at a liquid phase state if switch signals of two switches are determined as an engine start request. A starter system of a liquefied petroleum gas injection vehicle comprises an ignition switch(10), a starter switch(40), an ECU(50), and a relay(60). The ignition switch has contacts(ACC,IG2,IG1) for supplying power to loads of the vehicle so that contacts are selected by an ignition key. The starter switch is mounted on a predetermined position in the vehicle independently from the ignition switch, and outputs an engine start-on request signal. The ECU detects the temperature and pressure of the fuel pressed to an injector and judges whether the fuel is maintained at a liquid phase, if signals output from the ignition switch and the starter switch are engine start-on request signals, and controls the operation of a starter motor(30) under the condition where the liquid phase is maintained. The relay drives the operation of the start motor in accordance with the control of the ECU.</p>
