<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have nothing which exists in a gap between a liquid crystal module and a rear panel. <P>SOLUTION: A display device 10 is equipped with: the liquid crystal module 20; the rear panel 50 to cover the rear face of the liquid crystal module; a front edge member 40 to cover a peripheral section of a front face of the liquid crystal module; and a circuit substrate 30 to drive the liquid crystal module, wherein the liquid crystal module is constructed with: a liquid crystal cell 210; a light guide plate 230 placed on the rear face side of the liquid crystal cell; a reflection plate 240 placed on the rear face side of the light guide plate 230; a plurality of LEDs 244 arranged so as to be opposite to at least one end face of the light guide plate; and a holding frame 250 having a spacer section 251 to cover a portion of the reflection plate along its periphery on the rear face side and holding the liquid crystal cell, the light guide plate, the reflection plate, and LEDs, and the circuit substrate is arranged on a flat face nearly identical to the liquid crystal module in a space between the rear panel and the front edge member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
