PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-speed reproduction or skip and reproduction for a recording information section where a user has made evaluation negatively, even if the user does not perform troublesome operation. SOLUTION: A user's evaluation value generation means generates a user evaluation value about reproduction based on a user's operation input on a prescribed section of an information signal specified by the user's operation input based on a detection output of a user's operation input detection means. A user's evaluation value storage means records a generated user's evaluation value in association with information in the corresponding prescribed section of an information signal. During reproduction by a reproduction means, a user's evaluation value recorded by a user's evaluation recording means is referred to by lookahead, and according to the looked ahead the user's evaluation value, the reproduction of the prescribed section of a corresponding information signal is carried out by normal reproduction, high speed reproduction in a forward direction, or skip reproduction.
