PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can allow a user to easily remove a bundle of sheets left in a device 500, when a job is terminated halfway through the execution of the job in bookbinding mode.

SOLUTION: In case the job is terminated halfway through its execution in the bookbinding mode in operating a gluing bookbinding device 500, a gluing operation is performed by a gluing part B to the bundle of sheets loaded on a sheet loading tray 520 until the job is terminated. The bundle of glued sheets is transferred to a bound book discharging part E without wrapping the bundle of pasted sheets with a cover sheet by a bonding part C.
