<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling apparatus that does not require a power supply cord. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling apparatus uses an electronic heating/cooling element such as a Peltier element for cooling the subject of cooling, and uses an electromagnetic induction heating device in a kitchen or dining as the power supply thereof. The cooling apparatus has a driven coil which generates induced electric power when installed in the magnetic field of a high-frequency induction field generating coil, and an electronic cooling element which is operated by a direct current produced from a current generated by the driven coil.
