A method for knockout of castings consists in installation of the lump with casting on the chute of conveyer, in displacement of lump with casting over the chute of conveyer to the vibrating screen under the action of pusher, and knocking out of casting on the lattice of vibrating screen, moreover, during feed of lump with casting to the lattice ofvibrating screen the pusher is moved periodically. Moreover, the first continuous displacement of pusher is conducted at its stroke, which ensures entering to the lattice of the vibrating screen of 0.10-0.25 of initial length of lump at its installation on the chute of conveyer, then begins the pause in the displacement of pusher with duration of 0.20-0.26 of the duration of entire knockout cycle, then is carried out the displacement of pusher for stroke, which in value is equal to 0.25-0.75 of initial length of lump with castings, then comes the pause in the displacement of pusher, with duration of 0.6-0.1 of the duration of entire knockout cycle, the displacement of pusher then is carried out, stroke of which ensures arrangement on the lattice of the vibrating screen of entire lump with castings.
