A device for dc power supply of smelting furnace has three single-phase transformers, with thyristor controllers in primary circuit and non-controlledrectifier block in secondary circuit, and blocks for control of controllers, at that primary winding of each transformer is connected to respective linear wire of three-phase power supply mains through the thyristor controller named. Rectifier block is arranged as three single-phase non-controlled rectifier bridges, outputs of those are connected through independent throttles and current conductors in parallel to electrodes of smelting furnace. Inputs of each control block of thyristor controller are functionally connected to common block of master action.
