<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character input method, a character input program and an information processor, allowing easy input of a character according to use environment. <P>SOLUTION: Setting of a converting dictionary used in a Japanese language input program or the like is performed as follows. It is decided whether present time becomes prescribed dictionary setting time (step S11). When it is decided that the present time becomes the dictionary setting time, a log table corresponding to the present time is referred to (step S12). The log table is a table for predicting the setting of the converting dictionary in a prescribed period on the basis of history information related to selection operation of the converting dictionary.
