<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which can inhibit a scratch in a web with very simple constitution and is excellent in practicality. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing device composed so that the web repeatedly fed in the forward and reverse directions and fed continuously is printed by a printing mechanism 4 having at least a plate cylinder 2 and an impression cylinder 3, the outer periphery of the impression cylinder 3 is constituted of a contact part 13 which contacts the web at the time of printing and a non-contact section 5 having a diameter smaller than that of the contact part 13.
